This One-Of-A Kind Back Pack is a shining example of what can be created with Leather and Hitched Horsehair. The black leather is garment quality, with great care and attention given to the stitching and finishing. Each of the three hitched horsehair inlays has been double-edged. The top zipper, which opens into the roomy body of the bag, measures 24", allowing excellent access. There are two smaller pockets on the front of the back. The left pocket has a zipper running vertically measuring 7 1/2". The hitched inlay on this pocket measures 3 1/2" L by 1 3/4"W. On the front of the right pocket, the zipper runs horizontally and measures 5 1/4". The hitched inlay on the front of the second pocket measures 3 1/4" L X 1 1/4" W. Also, on the front of the Back Pack, a decorative third hitched inlay measures 5"L X 1 1/4W. The pattern and colors of this hitched inlay piece match the colors and patterns of the hitched pieces which form the straps. The two hitched strap pieces measures 8" each and are finished on either end double-layered leather pieces, reinforced at both top and bottom. The straps are adjustable and taper to fit a 3-piece(buckle, keeper & tip) sterling silver set - one set on each strap. At the top of the bag, between the straps, is a leather loop for additional easy handling. This Back Pack is an example of the largest size of bag offered. Smaller sized bags/purses are available and range in cost depending on the amount of hitching and other details. The bags/purses can be ordered in Black and various shades of Brown, with a wide variety of assorted hitched patterns and colors.
